Water & Gym Floors Don't Mix Well

Have you ever had a kickball hit a sprinkler head?  Hopefully the answer is "NO."  Unfortunately, one of our clients has and we want everyone to be prepared if it happens to them.

As with any water emergency, call SERVPRO of Champaign/Urbana immediately.  We will arrive and start set up and drying out immediately.  

 1. We will set up a containment to keep the area closed off.

2. We will rise the temperature inside the containment to well over 90 degrees to get the  humidity down to as close to 0 as possible.

3. Fans will be put out and drying mats will be put down. 

4. We will monitor very closely for the next 48-72 hours and get the floor back flat and usable again.

With all water emergencies, it is very important to get started immediately.  The sooner we take action, the better the chances are of us being able to save the floor. Being able to save the floor will save the facility from having to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a new floor.
